Ellsworth Place, A multilevel mall, portions of which originally dated back to the 1950’s underwent a major renovation. Petrie Richardson Ventures acquired ownership and management in 2007 and since then has completed a new merchandising, re-tenanting and facelift for the property. DDG was consulted to design a new wayfinding system to match the architectural renovation. 

 

The system was inspired by the "Industrial" styled renovation for the center. The use of a layered metal and corten motif further enforce the “warehouse” feel. Utilizing a mix of grays, blacks, neutrals and rustic colors bring old factories and industrial spaces to mind.
